HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 3414 04/03/1984ORDINANCE NO. 3414 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES THE 3rd DAY OF APRIL, 1984 Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 5 th day of April , 1984 RDINANCE NO. 3414 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, it is no longer necessary or useful to or for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect, to retain ownership of the personal property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to sell said personal property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINE~ BY THE MAYOR ANb BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE V?LLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section-lt-7~-~ of the Ill'inois Municipal Code, Illinois Revised S~atutes, C24~ Section 11-76-4, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the village of Mount Prospect find Ghat the personal property described as follows: Make Serial (VIN #) 1983 Chevrolet-Malibu 1G1AW69HODR213670 now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect, is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Mount Prospect and the best interest~ Of the Village of Mount Prospect will be served'by its sale. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to said Section 11-76-4, the Village Manager or his designate.is hereby authorized and directed to sell the aforementioned personal property now owned by the Village'of Mount prospect. SECTION THREE: Upon payment of the full price~ ~he Village Manager of his designate is hereby authorized and directed to convey and transfer title to the'aforesaid personal property to the purchaser. SECTION FOUR: This'ordinance shall'be in full'force and effect from and after its passage, by a vote of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities, and approval in the manner provided by law.
