Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois the 27th day of Febr~arl;, 1984 ORDINANCE NO. 3397 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN ROADWAY IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, Chapter 24, 11-91-1 of the Illinois Revised Statutes (1981) authorizes the vacation of any municipal street or alley, or part thereof, by passage of an ordinance by the corporate authorities of a municipality; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find that the public interest will be served by vacating a certain unimproved roadway commonly known as Waverly Street, extended~ at Lincoln Street, more accurately described herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT pROsPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOISi: SECTION ONE: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find and determine that it is in the public interest and the interest of the Village of Mount Prospect that the unimproved roadway commonly known as Waverly Street, extended, legally described as follows, be vacated: Ail that part of a public street which lies West of the West line of Lot 10 and East of the East line of Lot 11 and South of the North lines of Lots 10 and 11 extended and North of the South lines of Lots 10 and 11 extended all in Northwest Hills Country Club being a subdivision of parts of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance, the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with the Plat of Vacation, attached hereto, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full effect from and after its passage, approval and in pamphlet form, in the manner provided by law. force and publication AYES: FARLEY, MI/RAUSKIS, VAN GE, EM, WK±'±'ENBERG NAYS: NONE ABSENT:ARS/4UR, FLOROS PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of February · 1984.
