Ivancic has filed an application for ariations with respect to his property commonly known as the orthwest Corner of Northwest Highway and Edward Street in the illage of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Subject Property is described as follows: Lot 39, Lot 40 and Lot 41 in Block 22 in the Resubdivislon of Lot 7, in Block 21, Lots 12 to 19 both inclusive, in Block 22, and Lots 12 and 13, in Block 23 in Busse's Eastern Addition to Mount Prospec in the East Half of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Coo~ County, Illinois. WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks the following variations from rovis~ons of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, / llinols, to allOw parking over the entire 20 foot minimum rear yar~ rea required by Section 14.2002.C of Article XX, and to allow the ~ liminatlon of a truckloading space required by Section t4.2005.B o rtlcle xx, and to allow the reduction in size of the parking stall ) 19 feet rather than 20 feet as required by SeCtion 14.2602.B of ~ticle XXVI; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation requests ]esignated as Case No. ZBA-30-V-84) before the Zoning Board of )peals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 26th day of July, )84, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the )unt Prospect Herald on the 9th day of July, 1984; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings ~d recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Lllage of Mount Prospect to allow the requested variations subject ipapprova% by the Community Development Department of a site plan ~quiring installation and maintenance of certain landscaping and ~rking improvements for the property, and the President and Board i~ Trustees of said Village have given further consideration to the ~riation requests and have determined that the same satisfy the :andards set forth in Section 14.605 of Article VI of Chapter 14 ]e Village Code, and this Board further finds that it would be in ]e best interest of the Village to grant the request for variations. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF ~USTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, A~ )LLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are ~corporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Villag( Mount Prospect hereby grant to the Subject Property the riations requested with respect to Sections 14.2002.C, and ~.2005.B of Article XX, and Section 14.2602.B of Article XXVI of ~apter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, to allo~ ~rking within the rear yard area, to eliminate a truck loading P f f ,ace and to reduce the size of the parking spaces to 19 feet; 'ovided that landscaping and parking improvements are installed an. ~intained in accordance with a site plan approved by the Community ~velopment Department.
