PZ-13-02,791 East Rand Road, Insignia Townhomes 1. 2® reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 791 EAST RAND ROAD This ordinance approves the rezoning of property from R-1 (Single Family Residence) to R2 (Attached Single Family Planned Unit Development). The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-1. (At the request of the petitioner, this case was deferred from the August 6, 2002 meeting). 2® reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS AND A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 791 EAST RAND ROAD This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit for a Planned Unit Development of 23 townhomes, and variations for front stoops on each unit and a parking setback. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-1. (At the request of the petitioner, this case was deferred from the August 6, 2002 meeting). PZ-15-02, 1020 E. Rand Road, Citgo Gas Station/Convenience Store 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1020 EAST RAND ROAD This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to redevelop an existing Shell gas station with convenience mart, and a variation for the encroachment of a canopy into the required setbacks, along the north and south property lines. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the petitioner's request with by a vote of with 6-0. (At the request of the petitioner, this case was deferred from the August 6, 2002 meeting). (Exhibit B) (Exhibit C) (Exhibit D) Xl. NEW BUSINESS XlI. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. *Bid results: 1. Asbestos removal at Fire Station #12 *Request for Board acceptance of proposal from C.L. Graphics for printing of Mount Prospect Newsletter, not to exceed $76,000. *Amendment No. 1 to the Standard Form of Agreement between the Village of Mount Prospect and W.B. Olson (Construction Manager), to cover the fees and costs of demolition of the Mount Prospect Senior Center, 50 S. Emerson Street. *Accept private improvements installed in conjunction with Matz Funeral Home, 408 E. Rand Road. E. Status Report Xlll. ANY OTHER BUSINESS XlV.
