HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 3485 12/18/1984 RDINANCE NO. 3485 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PRosPEcT LAND LYING IN SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES THE 18th DAY OF December , 1984 Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 19th day of December , 1984 N ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT LAND LYING IN SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by all the owners of record'of the land hereinafter described, there being no electors residing thereon, has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect that the said land and territory be annexed to the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as Follows, to wit: Laich's Subdivision of the North 10 acres of the South 15 acres of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, except the West 662.08 feet thereof in Cook County, Illinois an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference, be, and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, or Registrar of Titles, whichever is applicable, of Cook County, Illinois, and to file in the Office of the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
