AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18.2004 OF CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
NHEREAS, the Safety Commission of the Village of Mount Prospec%
has considered a petition presented by residents of the
Village of Mount Prospect to provide regulations at the
intersection of Can Dota and Sha Bonee Trail to further
Insure the safety of the residents; and
WHEREAS, the Safety Commission has recommended to the Village
President and Board of Trustees that a STOP sign be authorized
at the intersection of Can Dota and Sha Bonee Trail; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees concur with the
recommendation of the Safety Commission as stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Schedule IV, Section 18.2004, of Chapter 18
entitled "Stop and Yield Signs", as amended, be and the same
is hereby further amended to add in proper alphabetical
sequence the following:

Street
Direction of
Traffic Movement
At Intersection With
Can Dota Ave. North & Southbound Sha Bonee Tr. "
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
lin pamphlet form as provided by law.
AYES: Arthur, Farley, Floros, Murauskis, Van Geem
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Wattenberg
