AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
COMMENCING MAY 1, 1985 TO APRIL 30, 1986 IN
LIEU OF PASSAGE OF AN. APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE.
· WHEREAS, the President and the Board.of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect in accordance with Statutes, have provided for the
preparation and adoption of an annual'budget in lieu of passage of an
appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year commencing May t, 1985 to
April 3D, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the TentatiVe Annual Budget for the Village of Mount
Prospect for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1985 And ending April 30,
1985, as prepaPed by the Budget Officer for the Village and submitted
to the President and 8oard of Trustees, was placed on file in the
office of the Village Clerk on April 4, 1985, for public inspection,
as provide~ by statute; and
WHEREAS,. pursuant to notice duly published on April 4, I985, a
public hearing was held by the President and Board of Trustees on said
Tentative Annual'Budget on April 16, 1985, as provided by statute.and
resolution; and
WHEREAS, following said public hearing, said Tentative Annual
Budget was reviewed by the President and Board of lrustees and a copy
of said Tentative Annual Budget is attached hereto and made a part
hereof and is before the President and Board of Trustees for conside-
ration and adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND 80ARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK C'OUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The Tentative Annual Budget for the Village of
Mount"Prospect beginning May 1; 1985 and ending April 30, 1986, a copy
of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby approved
and adopted as the Annual Budget for the Villag~ of Mount Prospect for
said fiscal year.
SECTION TWO: Within thirty (30) days following the adoption of
this -O~-Binance there shall be filed with the County Clerk of Cook
County a copy thereof duty certified by the Village Clerk and an Esti-
mate of Revenues by source anticipated to be received by the Village
in the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1985 and ending April 30, 1986,
duly certified by the Chief Fiscal Officer.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form
in the manner provided by law.
