AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL
USE TO ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF A SATELLITE DISH
ANTENNA ON CERTAIN RESIDENCE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1509 MURA LANE, IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT,
ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Terry and Martha Chronopoulos, the Petitioners herein,
have made application for a special use with respect to their
residence property for the purpose of installing and maintaining a
satellite dish antenna in their rear yard, pursuant to the
provisions of Section 14.1101oC.4 of Chapter 14 of the Village Code
of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is located at 1509 Mura Lane,
Mount Prospect, Illinois, and is legally described as follows:
Lot 259 in Woodview Manor Unit No. 2, being a
Subdivision of part of the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 24, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County,
Illinois.
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said Special Use
Application (designated as Case No. ZBA-14-SU-85) before the Zoning
Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on April 25, 1985
pursuant to proper publication of due notice thereof in the Mount
Prospect Herald on March 18, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its finding
and recommendation to the Village that the special use permit be
granted subject to compliance with the conditions hereinafter set
forth; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have considered
this Special Use Applicatioh and have determined that the Subject
Property complies with the standards set forth in Section 14.704 of
said Chapter 14 regarding a special use, and that the best interests
of the Village of Mount Prospect would be obtained by the adoption
of the necessary ordinance to approve and authorize the said special
use,subject to compliance With the conditions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are ,"
incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: A special use for the Subject Property, described
above, to allow the installation and maintenance of a satellite dish
antenna in the rear yard thereof, pursuant to Section 14.1101.C.4 of
said Chapter 14 is hereby approved subject to compliance with the'
following conditions:
Said satellite dish antenna shall be located in
accordance with Village regulations.
Said satellite dish antenna shall be screened and
landscaped as approved by the Community Development
Department of the Village.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the
manner provided by law.
