AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 ENTITLED
"VEHICLE LICENSES" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That subsection E.1 and E.2 of Section 17.110 of
Chapter 17 entitled "Vehicle Licenses", as amended, is
hereby furtker amended to provide for increased fines; so
that thereafter said subsection E.1 and E.2 of Section 17.110
shall be and read as follows:

The violation claim described in said citation
so to be issued pursuant to the terms of this
Chapter, may be settled, compromised and paid in
the respective amounts set forth in the following
schedule:
In the event that said payment is made prior
to the mailing by the Municipality or by the
peace officer of a final notice, ten dollars
($10.00) shall be accepted as payment.

In the event that payment has not been paid
prior to the mailing of such final notice,
and in fact, final notice has been mailed,
twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be accepted as
settlement. "
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
