CHAPTER 22 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
ARTICLE 8 ENTITLED
PLAIN REGULATIONS" OF
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: Article 8 entitled "Water, Sewer and Flood
Plain Regulations" of Chapter 22 of the Village Code of Mount
Prospect,
A.
Illinois, 1985 is hereby amended as follows:
8¥ deleting Section 22.806 A (iii) in its
entirety and by substituting therefor a new
Section 22.806 A (iii) bo read as follows:
"Section 22.806 A (iii). "New Construction
and Substantial Improvements". The surface
of the fiII shaI1 be on or above the Fiood
Protection EIevation, and the Iowest fIoor,
inciuding basement, shalI be at or above the
Flood Protection Elevation.
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
e.ffect upon .its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 16th.day of July , 1985.
