ORDINANCE NO. 3557
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 ENTITLED "ZONING"
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Thermo Dynamics, a Petitioner, has submitted a
Petition for a text amendment to Chapter 14 entitled "zoning" of the
Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, said text amendment provides that a private
heliport be added tO Article XXII pertaining to the I-1 Light
Indus}rial District as a special use within said district; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the text amendment
request (designated as Case No. ZBA-33-A-85) before the Zoning Board
of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 27th day of June,
1985, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the
Mount Prospect Herald on the llth day of June, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its
findings and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested text
amendment, and the President and Board of Trustees of said Village
have given further consideration to the text amendment request and
further find [hat it would be in the best interest of the Village to
grant the same.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOISt AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: Article XXII entitled "I-1 District" of
Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois 1981 as
amended, is hereby further amended by adding to Section 14.2201.C
thereof a new subparagaph 4 to read:"4: Private Heliport".
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
