53-84
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
WORD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, a Committee appointed to investigate the feasibility
of word processing equipment for,the Vi~lage of.Mount Prospect I
has determined that word process~ng equ~pment w~ll help to
improve the productivity of Village business; and I
WHEREAS, proposals were sought and received from three
suppliers of word processing equipment; and
WHEREAS, upon reviewing the proposals submitted in order to
facilitate the requirements of the Village using word
processing equipment, it was the determination of the Word
Processing Committee that the proposal submitted by Exxon
Office Systems Company is the equipment most suited to the
needs of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect hereby authorize the Village
Manager to accept the proposal submitted by Exxon Office
Systems Company for word processing equipment in amounts
not exceeding the following:
Placement of Equipment
Cost of Equipment
Village Manager's Office
Engineering Division
Public Works Office
Community Development

SECTION TWO: The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
do hereby waive the bidding requirements in order to purchase
this specializEdword processing equipment from Exxon Office
Systems Company.
SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from arid after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
