RESOLUTION NO. 14-85
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR T~E FILING OF
THE TENTATIVE ANNUAL BUDGET Of THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND FOR PUEL1C INSPECTION
AND HEARING THEREON .
I BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND 30ARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
ILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the tentative annual budget of the
Jillage of Mount Prospect for the. fiSC. al yea rbeginning May 1,
985, and ending April 30, 1986, as prepared by the Budget
fficer and submitted to the President and Board of Trustees I
n pamphlet form, shall be placed on file in the office of the
i!illage Clerk on April 4, 1985, and shall remain on file and
e made conveniently available for public inspection during
I,.!ormal business hours from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on any business
.~ay for a period of ten days after the initial filing thereof and
I hereafter until further order of this Board. A copy of said
I udget will also be filed with the Mount Prospect Public Library
n April 4, 1985 and will be available for public inspection
uring normal business hours of the Library.
SECTION TWO: That a public hearing shall be held on said
entative annual budget at 8:00 P.M. on April 16, 1985, in the
econd floor Board Room of the Public Safety Building, 112 East
orthwest Highway, Mount Prospect, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
ublish in the April 4, 1985 edition of the Mount Pros ect Herald,
newspaper of general circulation in this Village, the following

TO THE PUBLIC:
Notice is hereby given that on April 4, 1985,
there was placed on file in the office of the Village
Clerk at the Village Hall, 100 South Emerson Street,
Mount Prospect, Illinois, a tentative annual budget
for the Village of Mount Prospect for the fiscal year
beginning May 1, 1985 and endin~ April 3D, 1986, as
prepared by the Budget Officer in pamphlet form and
proposed for adoption by the President and Board of
Trustees. Said budget shall be available for public
inspection during the hours froe 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
on any normal business day for ê period of ten days and,
thereafter, until further order of the Corporate Authori-
ties of the Village. A copy of said budget will also be
filed with the Mount Prospect P~~lic Library on April 4,
1985 and will be available for çJblic inspection during
normal business hours of the Litrary.

Notice is further given that on April 16, 1985, a
public hearing will be held on the tentative annual
budget by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospectat 8:00 P.M. in the second
floor Board Room of the Public Safety Building, 112 East
Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, Illinois, at which
time and place any persons interested may attend and be
heard.

Following the said public hearing and any continuatioñ
thereof, the tentative annual budget may be revised and
adopted by the said Corporate Authorities of the Village
without further inspection, notice or hearing.

SECTION FOUR: This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by
law.
