AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT LAND LYING IN SECTION 22,
TOWNSHIp 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY
(ROSENOW PROPERTY, SOUTH BUSSE ROAD)
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed bY all the owners
of record of the land hereafter described, there being no
electors residing thereon, has been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be
annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality,but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best
interest of said Village that the said land and territory be
annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as
follows:
The south 12 acres of the North 20 acres and the North 16.5
feet of the South 20 acres of the North 40 acres all in the
East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
(except that part thereof lying within the Illinois State
Toll Highway Commission Right-Of-Way as shown in the deed
thereto recorded in the Recorder's Office of Cook County,
Illinois, on November 9, 1956 as Document No. 16751119 and
except that part lying Southwesterly of the Southwesterly
line of said Illinois State Toll Highway Commission
Right-Of-Way and except that part of the West 210 feet,
measured at right angles to the West line thereof, lying
Northeasterly of the Northeasterly line of said Illinois
State Toll Highway Commission Right-Of-Way, and except that
part falling in Busse Road) in Cook County, Illinois
Generally located on the west side of South Busse. Road
approximately 800 feet north of the Northwest Tollway.
an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and hereby
made a part hereof, be and the same is hereby annexed to the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: The Village clerk of the Village of Mount
Pr'ospe'Ct is hereby directed to record in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds, or Registrar of Titles, whichever is
applicable, of Cook County, Illinois, and to file in the Office
f the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this
Ordinance together with an accurate map of the territorY annexed.
