Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 2nd day of April , 1986. AF ORDINANCE NO. 3634 AN ORDINANCE AUT~6~NG YHE SALE BY PUBLIC AUCTION OF PERSONAL ~ROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PRDSPECT WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, it is no longer necessary or useful to or for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect to retain ownership of the personal property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to sell said personal property at a public auction to be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 10, 1986. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINQIS: SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois Muni'cipal C'ode, Illinois Revised Statues, Chapter 24 §11-76-4 the President and Board of Trustees of the ~Village of Mount Prospect find that the personal property listed hereinbelow now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Mount Prospect, and the best interest of the Village of Mgunt Prospect would be served by its sale. One (1) 1977 Ford, Model F350 (Ambulance) Vehicle Identification No. F37JLY3335 Minimum Bid: $500.00 SECTION TWO: That, pursuant to said §tl-76-4 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell the aforementioned personal property now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect, at public auction on Saturday, May 10, 1986 at the Arlington Heights Public Works Facility, 222 North Ridge, Arlington Heights, Illinois, to the highest bidder on said personal property. SECTION THREE: That the Village Manager is hereby authorized and may direct the Northwest Municipal Conference to advertise the sale o~ the aforementioned personal property in a newspaper published within the community before the date of said public auction. SECTION FOUR: That no bid which is less than the minimum price establi§hed shall be accepted unless authorized by the Village Manager or his representative at the auction. SECTION FIVE: That'the Village Manager is hereby authorized and may d'irect ~the Northwest Municipal Conference to enter into an agreement for the sale of said personal property. The action shall be conducted and the auctioneer shall be compensated in the manner set forth in the contract attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION SIX: That, upon payment of the full auction price, the Village 'Manager is hereby authorized and direct to convey and transfer title to the aforesaid personal property to the successful bidder. SECTION SEVEN: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fro~ and'af'~er its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
