Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 16th day of April , 1986. ORDINANCE NO. 363? AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE VILLAGE COMMONLY KNOWN AS ONE NORTH STEVENSON WHEREAS, the Village of Mount ProsPect, Illinois owns the following described real property: Lot 18 in Bluett's Fairview Gardens, being a subdivision of part of the West Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of part of the East Half of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. which property is commonly known as One North Stevenson, Mount Prospect, Illinois and is currently zoned for single family residence purposes; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect did determine that the subject property is no longer necessary, appropriate or in the best interest of the Village that it retain title to the said real estate and that said real estate is not required for the use of or profitable to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, in cooperation with School District 214, has authorized the construction of a single family home on this Village owned property, which construction was for the purpose of offering high school students an opportunity to gain experience in the various trades involved with construction; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the best interest of the Village and its residents would be served by offering the subject real estate for sale by auction, pursuant to the procedures established in Ordinance No. 3612, passed and approved February 18, 1986. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: The 6'~ Mou'nt 'P'rospect forth. President and Board of Trustees do hereby as facts the recitals of the Village hereinabove set SECTION TWO: The Village did, pursuant a'dvertise the subject property for sale bidder by public auction, which auction to Ordinance No. 3612, to the highest qualified was held April 5, 1986. SECTION THREE: That the highest qualified bid submitted for the ~F6hase 6f the subject property was received from Randolph L. and Suzanne M. Anderson in the amount of $113,000, along with a certified check in the amount of $5,000, as required by the procedures established in Ordinance No. 3612. SECTION FOUR: That the President and Board of Trustees have rev:i6~ed the bid submitted by Randolph L. and Suzanne M. Anderson for the subject property in amount of $113,000 and do hereby authorize and direct the Village President and Village Clerk to execute the Contract to Purchase on behalf of the Village and to tevenson Page 2 of Lot- 2 execute and attest to the conveyance of the this Ordinance. such other documents as may be necessary for subject real estate being the subject of SECTION FIVE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and e'f'fec~ from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in accordance with law.
