Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 7th day of May , 1986, AF ORDINANCE NO. 3646 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY PUBLIC AUCTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, it is no longer necessary or useful to or for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect to retain ownership of the personal property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to sell said personal property at a public auction to be held at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 7, 1986. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois Municipal Code, Illinois Revised Statues, Chapter 24 §11-76-4 the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find that the personal property listed hereinbelow now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Mount Prospect, and the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect would be served by its sale: Item Unit Model Serial Number Minimum Bid Royal Typewriter One Royal Typewriter One Royal Typewriter One Royal Typewriter One Royal Typewriter One Typewriter Stand One Typewriter Stand One (1 970 (1 970 (1 700 (1 FP (1 470 (1 None (1 None 1048593 1197712 9796551 6944910 9702443 None None $1 00 $1 00 $1 00 $1 00 $1 O0 $1 O0 $1.00 SECTION TWO: That, pursuant to said §11-76-4 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell the aforementioned personal property now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect, at public auction on Saturday, June 7, 1986 at the Mount Prospect Public Safety Building, 112 East Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, Illinois, to the highest bidder on said personal property. SECTION THREE: No offer which is less than the minimum price set forth herein shall be accept. SECTION FOUR: That, upon payment of the full auction price, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and direct to convey and transfer title to the aforesaid personal property to the successful bidder. SECTION FIVE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
