A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 07 -11
RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENTS OF A DIRECTOR
AND ALTERNATE DIRECTORS
TO THE SOLID WASTE AGENCY OF NORTHERN COOK COUNTY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACTING IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR
HOME RULE POWERS:
SECTION ONE The Village of Mount Prospect is a member of the Solid Waste Agency of
Northern Cook County (the "Agency ") and, pursuant to the Agency Agreement establishing the
Agency, is entitled to appoint a Director and one or more Alternate Directors to the Board of
Directors of the Agency.
SECTION TWO: By Resolution Number 07 -11 the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect appointed Trustee Paul Wm. Hoefert as a Director on the Board of
Directors of the Agency, and Trustee Michael A. Zadel and Mayor Irvana K. Wilks as Alternate
Directors, in each case for a term expiring April 30, 2013, or until a successor is appointed.
SECTION THREE: Resolution 07 -11 is amended to acknowledge the resignation of Trustee
Michael A. Zadel effective September 18, 2012 and authorize the appointment of Trustee A.
John Korn and Trustee Steve S. Polit to serve as Alternate Directors to fulfill the unexpired term
of Trustee Zadel.
SECTION FOUR The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect appoint
Trustee A. John Korn and Trustee Steve S. Polit as Alternate Directors, for a term expiring April
30, 2013.
SECTION FIVE: Trustee Paul Wm. Hoefert shall complete his appointed term as Director and
Mayor Irvana K. Wilks shall complete her appointed term as Alternate Director; each term
expiring April 30, 2013
SECTION SIX This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval
in the manner provided by law.

NAYS: None
ABSENT: Zadel
