SPECIAL MEETING
April 30, 2012

Chairman Busse called the special meeting to order at 4:17 p.m.
Roll Call: George Busse, Commissioner
Michaele Skowron, Commissioner
James Powers, Commissioner
Mark Busse, Commissioner
Also Present: Michael Semkiu, Deputy Chief of Police

The purpose of the Special Meeting was to conduct Police Department Oral Interviews. Prior to going into
Closed Session, the Chairman signed correspondence to candidates no longer interested in a position with the
Mount Prospect Police Department. Chairman G. Busse asked for a motion to go into Closed Session.
A motion was made by Commissioner Skowron and seconded by Commissioner Powers to go into Closed
Session to conduct oral interviews under Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) - The appointment, employment,
compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing
testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity
Roll Call: Ayes: G. Busse, M. Busse, Powers, Skowron Nays: None Motion Carried
The Board reconvened at 11:12 p.m. with Chief Dahlberg present and everyone from the previous session
present.
A motion was made by Commissioner Skowron and seconded by Commissioner Powers to approve Police
Officer Eligibility List II.
Roll Call: Ayes: G. Busse, M. Busse, Powers, Skowron Nays: None Motion Carried
A motion was made by Commissioner Powers and seconded by Commissioner Skowron to adjourn the
meeting at 11:31 p.m.
