AN ORDINANCE TO RESCIND AN ORDINANCE
A/~ENDING ARTICLE XX OF CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT~ ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, by virtue of certain off-site parking problems which
developed upon various residential streets of this Village as a
result of the extensive use of property at 701 East Prospect Avenue
in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, this Board did adopt
Ordinance No. 3507 on April 3, 1985 to establish a two hour
parking limit on said streets so affected and specified in
Ordinance No. 3507; and
WHEREAS, the business use formerly operated at 701 East
Prospect Avenue has been terminated and moved from this Village,
and the off-site parking problems generated by such business have
similarly ceased to exist.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
SECTION 1: Village Ordinance 3507 adopted April 3, 1985,
to amend Article XX of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village
Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois to establish a two hour parking
limit along certain parts of Albert, Edward, George, Louis and
William Streets and Council and Sba Bonee Terrace, in this
Village, is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 17th day of September, 1985.
