the third floor Executive Conference Room of Village Hall, 50 South Emerson, by Mayor
Wilks. Those present at the Closed Session were: Trustees Paul Hoefert, Arlene
Juracek, John Korn, John Matuszak, Steven Polit and Michael Zadel. Staff present
included Village Manager Michael Janonis, Assistant Village Manager David Strahl and
Finance Director David Erb. Motion made by Trustee Korn seconded by Trustee Polit to
move into Closed Session.
Personnel Discussion
Village Manager Janonis provided the Village Board an update regarding the
recruitment for the Deputy Fire Chief appointment scheduled for November 16, 2010.
He also highlighted the possible impacts on other command positions within the
department.
There was also a general discussion regarding staffing changes in the Fire Department
due to the pending retirements.
Meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
