The meeting called for the purpose of a Closed Session was convened at 8:27 p.m., in
the third floor Executive Conference Room of Village Hall, 50 South Emerson, by Mayor
Wilks. Those present at the Closed Session were: Trustees Paul Hoefert, Arlene
Juracek, John Korn, John Matuszak, and Steven Polit. Staff present included Village
Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village Manager David Strahl.
Personnel Discussion
Village Manager Janonis provided an update regarding the layoff process which is
currently underway in meetings with the employees. He also provided an option to
consider regarding an independent contract arrangement with an employee for work to '
be performed after accepting retirement. p
The Village Board was open to the concept pending organizational needs are met. e FW
