CLOSED SESSION
SEPTEMBER 7, 2010
The meeting called for the purpose of a Closed Session was convened at 8:10 p.m., in
the third floor Executive Conference Room of Village Hall, 50 South Emerson, by Mayor
Irvana Wilks. Those present at the Closed Session were: Trustees Paul Hoefert, Arlene
Juracek, John Korn, John Matuszak, Steven Polit and Michael Zadel. Staff present
included Village Manager Michael Janonis, Assistant Village Managers David Strahl and
Finance Director David Erb.
Personnel Discussion
Village Manager Michael Janonis provided a. brief overview to the Village Board
regarding the status of the personnel cuts and the possible impact to the budget
including layoffs and the procedures for layoffs for the 2011 Budget.
Assistant Village Manager David. , Strahl provided an overview of the proposed
retirement and severance packages that would be offered to employees that would be
laid off.
Village Board authorized, the�;retirement and severance packages as presented.
Meeting adjourned "at 9 57 p.m. ` immediately moved into Open Session at 9:58 and
immediately adjourned with no further business.
