Meeting Called to Order at 2:00 PM
Board Members Present: Floyd, Halachoulis, Rosenbarski, Saviano (Erb absent)
Others Present: Keith Karlson, Jeremy Seemann
1) Reviewed minutes of July 28, 2009 meeting

2) Becker Burke Presentation
- Seemann went over results for the quarter
-Good improvements and results
-Still had Ariel funds in September with a very strong quarter, but Perkins and
Wolf consistently better in long term
-No immediate causes for concern

3) Discussion of Janonis state of the economy letter
- Halachoulis said municipalities encouraged to send similar letters
- Government bond laws help with pension loss prevention
4) Discussion of Treasurers Report (Erb absent)

- Officer Roscop retirement paperwork received
Motion to Accept Officer Roscop's retirement based upon salary of
$83487.52 subject to written certification by Village Treasurer

6) Discussion of IPPFA Training Conference
- Discussed mandated training requirements for pension board trustees
- Karlson recommended separate training folder for each trustee
7) Discussion of Rose lawsuit update
- Karlson said individual trustees no longer in suit individually
- Motions to still be filed
8) Discussion of Mesirow contract status
- Karlson stated Mesirow contract still possibly in review
9) Discussion of Illinois Department of Insurance Audit
- Rosenbarski provided letter dated September 8, 2009 to Erb when received
-Erb indicated to Rosenbarski that Erb would request an extension
10) Discussion of Internal Audit
-No Internal Audit occurring at this time
11) Discussion of future quarterly meeting dates
- Tuesday January 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM
- Tuesday April 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM
- Tuesday July 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM
- Tuesday October 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM
12) Discussion of Officer Barrett medical review
- Karlson stated Officer Barrett over 50 years of age, board has no status
Motion to pay Reemer LLC bill dated October 7, 2009 of $2066.23
