RESOLUTION NO.
1-86
A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY
OF THE CITY OF PROSPECT HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the City of Prospect Heights with its country-style living, has become a
progressive community of 13,250 residents; and
WHEREAS, 1986 marks the 10th Anniversary of this City whose residents actively
participate in their community; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect is proud to be one of its bordering
neighbors; and
WHEREAS, our communities have worked together in regional associations and other
cooperative endeavors thereby furthering common interests; and
WHEREAS~ the Village of Mount Prospect is pleased to join with so many others on
this occasion in celebrating the Prospect Heights' 10th Anniversary and recognizing
the City's great promise for the future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT~ COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The President and Board of Trustees of Mount Prospect and its
residents congratulate the Mayor, City Council and all the residents of the City of
Prospect Heights on its 10th Anniversary.
SECTION TWO: The Village of Mount Prospect extends best wishes to the people
of the City of Prospect Heights and acknowledges their contributions in making the
northwest suburban area a desirable location for all.
SECTION THREE: This Resolution shaH be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
