RESOLUTION NOo 25-86
A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE CONTRIBUTIONS
OF HAROLD ROSS
WHEREAS, HAROLD ROSS was appointed to the Mount Prospect Plan Commission
on June 24, 1958, serving as Chairman for many of the 28 years; and
WHEREAS, HAROLD ROSS has been a resident of the Village of Mount
Prospect for 31 years, at which time the population of the Village was
5,OOO¡ and
WHEREAS, during the past 31 years, HAROLD ROSS has been played an active
role in the growth and development of the Village of Mount Prospect,
having been involved with the implementation of the first Comprehensive
Plan for the Village of Mount Prospect in 1958 as well as the
Comprehensive Plan of 1976 and subsequent amendments¡ and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has benefited from the 28 years
of volunteer service of HAROLD ROSS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect do hereby acknowledge the many contributions made by
HAROLD ROSS as a member of the Mount Prospect Plan Commission for the
past 28 years.
SECTION TWO: That upon the occasion of his retirement from the Mount
Prospect Plan Commission the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect do express appreciation and good wishes to HAROLD ROSS
and his family.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be spread upon the minutes of
the Village Board and a copy of this Resolution shall be suitably
prepared and presented to HAROLD ROSS.
SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
