PZ- 20 -11, 999 North Elmhurst Road, Casto Lifestyle Properties 2n reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION (INCREASE ILLUMINATION LEVELS FOR THE ELECTRONIC MESSAGE CENTER) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 999 NORTH ELMHURST ROAD This ordinance grants a Variation to increase illumination levels for an electronic message center from 5,000 nits to 10,000 nits during daylight hours. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the Variation by a vote of 4 -2. This ordinance requires a super majority vote for approval. XI. NEW BUSINESS A. 1S reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4 (APPOINTIVE VILLAGE OFFICERS), APPENDIX A - DIVISION II, (FEES, RATES AND TAXES) AND CHAPTER 22 (FLOOD PLAIN REGULATIONS) OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT VILLAGE CODE B. 1S reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This ordinance allows the sale of personal property at a public auction conducted by either the Northwest Municipal Conference (NWMC), or an online service known as www.govdeals.com. XI 1. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. * Request Village Board approval to accept bid for HVAC Maintenance Contract in an amount not to exceed $43,700. B. * Request Village Board approval to accept 2011/2012 State of Illinois Joint Purchasing Program results for road salt at a unit cost not to exceed $60.41 per ton. C.
