Published in pamphlet form by the authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 8th day of October , 1986 3467R/39 ORDINANCE NO. 3698 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TWO VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 253 MICHAEL STREET, IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, George P. Urda has filed a petition for two variations with respect to proper~¥ commonly known as 253 Michael Street, in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois and WHEREAS, the Subject Property which is legally described as follows: Lot 41 in Hatten Heights - Unit #n4, a subdivision of part of the North East 1/4 of Section #10, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian. WHEREAS, Petitioner, seeks a variation from Section 14.1102.A of Article XI of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, to allow a trailer pad within the required front yard and from Section 14.116.C of said Article I of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, to allow a 23.5 foot wide driveway instead of the permitted 18 foot width. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposed variation requests (designated as Case No. ZBA-43-V-86) before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 28th day of August, 1986, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 12th day of August, 1986; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its finding and recommendation in favor of the proposed variations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, and the President and Board of Trustees have given further consideration to said requests and have determined that the same meets the standards set forth in Section 14.605 of Article VI pertaining to variations of said Chapter 14 of the Village Code and have further determined that the granting of the proposed variations would be in the best interest of the public. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect hereby grant to the Subject Property two variations to permit a trailer pad within the requi'red front yard and to allow a 23.5 foot wide driveway rather than the permitted 18 foot width~in accordance with the attached site plan. SECTION THREE: With the exception of the variations granted herein, the Subject Property shall comply with all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances and Regulations pertaining thereto. SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
