Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 6th day of May , 1987. ORDINANCE NO. 3779 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 16 ENTITLED "DEVELOPMENT CODE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS TO PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN CHANGES TO THE CODE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has proposed amendments to the Development Code to provide for notice provisions for vacations of public property; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has submitted its findings and recommendations to the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have considered further the amendments and the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and have determined that it is in the best interest of the community to grant the amendment request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: Chapter 16 entitled "Development Code" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, 1981, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending Section 16.303.C of Article III, Section 16.304.D of Article III, and Section 16.305 of Article IV as follows: By amending Section 16.303.C to add thereto a number "5." which shall be and read as follows: For any prelmiminary Subdivision Plat a sign be posted on the property identifying the project, the hearing date, and the time and place of the hearing." By amending Section 16.304.C to add thereto a number "3." which shall be and read as follows: For any final Subdivision Plan, excluding consolidations of existing lots, a sign shall be posted on the property, identifiying the project, the hearing date, and the time and place of the hearing." By creating an entirely new Section 16.305 to read as follows and to renumber the following Sections in proper numerical sequence: "Section ]6.305 - VACATIONS. Any vacation of public right-of-way shall require a plat to be approved under the requirements of this Ordinance and State Statute. For any vacation a sign shall be posted on the proPerty, identifying the project, the hearing date, and the time and place of the hearing." age 2 SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
