Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 22nd day of April , 1987. RDINANCE NO. 3771 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN A B-3 BUSINESS RETAIL DISTRICT IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Harold Busse has filed an application to rezone certain portions of property hereinafter described from a B-3 Business Retail District and R-2 Single-f~ily District to a B-3 Business Retail District as provided in Article of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and WHEREAS, the property is commonly known as the Northeast corner of Elm and Northwest Highway in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and is legally described as follows: Exhibit "A" WHEREAS, said rezoning request is for the purpose of developing the property with a retail florist shop of approximatley 8,400 square feet. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation request (designated as Case No. ZBA 11-Z-87) before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 26th day of March, 1987, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 10th day of March, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested rezoning; and WHEREAS, this Board has considered the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and does hereby determine it to be in the best interests of the Village to grant the requested rezoning. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. and SECTION TWO: The official zoning map pertaining to Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illionis, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying certain portions of the R-2 Single-Family Residence District and B-3 Retail and Service District to a B-3 Retail and Service District, which is legally described as above. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall from and after its passage, approval form in the manner provided by law. be in full force and effect and publication in pamphlet PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of April AYES: Arthur, Farley, Floros, Murauskis, Van Germ, Wattenberg , 1987.
