ORDINANCE NO. 3749
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 ENTITLED "ANIMALS"
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Article III of chapter 20 of the Village Code
of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is further amended
by amending Section 20.302.E.1 and Section 20.302.E.2; so that
said Sections 20.302.E.1 and 20.302.E.2 shall hereinafter read as
follows:
The violation claim described in said citation so to be
issued pursuant to the terms of this Chapter may be
settled, compromised and paid in the respective amounts
set forth as follows:
In the event that said payment is made prior to the
mailing by the Municipality or by the official of a
final notice, the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) shall
be accepted as settlement.
In the event that payment has not been paid prior to
the mailing of such final notice, and in fact notice
has been mailed the amount of Twenty Dollars
($20.00) shall be accepted as settlement."
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
the manner provided by law.
