ORDINANCE NO. 3747
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
ENTITLED, "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS" OF
THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT~ ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT~ COOK COUNTY~ ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 13.10g of Chapter 13 of the Village Code of Mount
Prospect, as amended, entitled "Restriction on Licenses" add subsection W. so that
Section 13.104 W. shall be and read as follows:
"W. Any premises which does not hold a valid Mount Prospect Class II
Business License as required by Chapter 12 of the Village Code."
SECTION TWO: That Section 13.107 of Chapter 13 of the Village Code of Mount
Prospect, as "Number of Licenses" be amended to add subsection C and shall be
and read as follows:
"C. Any licensed establishment that has discontinued the sale or service of
alcoholic liquor or that has not been open for business at least four (#) days
per week for a period of thirty (30) days or more shall automatically forfeit
its license. Upon forfeiture of said license, the number of available licenses
listed in Subsection A hereinabove shall automatically be reduced."
SECTION THREE: That effective May 1, 1987, Section 13.107 of Chapter 13 of
the Village Code of Mount Prospect, entitled "Number of Licenses" be amended by
deleting the words "Fifteen (15) Class S Licenses" and inserting the words "Thirteen
(13) Class S Licenses."
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by
law.
