AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT LAND LYING IN SECTION 10,
TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect did hold a Public Hearing on December 16, 1986,
pursuant to law, which Public Hearing was for the purpose of
considering the annexation of land hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best
interest of said Village that the said land and territory be
annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as
follows:
The East one hundred seventy-five feet (175') of the west
two hundred eight feet (208') of the Southwest quarter of
the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest quarter (except the
North 33 feet thereof and except the South 420 feet thereof)
of Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and hereby
made a part hereof, be and the same is hereby annexed to the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds, or Registrar of Titles, whichever is
applicable, of Cook County, Illinois, and to file in the Office
of the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this
Ordinance together with an accurate map of the territory annexed.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after is passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form in the manner provided by law.

AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO 'r~ DISCONNECTION OF
(:.:~TAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1501 SOUTH DOUGLAS AVENue:
FROM Tn~ VILLAGE OF ARLINGTON HEIGHTS AND ITS
ANNEXATION TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECTr ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Clerk of the
Village of Arlington Heights a written petition, signed by no
less than one-half of the owners of record and no less than one-
half of the electors of a certain parcel of land, of less than
160 acres in area, situated within the Village of Arlington
Heights, Illinois, and contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois, an accurate map of which territory is
attached hereto as Exhibit A, and made a part hereof, which
petition requests that, pursuant to Section 7-1-24 of the
Illinois Municipal Code (Chapter 24, Illinois Revised Statutes
1985), said land be disconnected from the Village of Arlington
Heights and annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That pursuant to the provisions of Section
7-1-24 of the Illinois Municipal Code (Chapter 24, Illinois
Revised Statutes 1985), the consent of the corporate authorities
of the Village of Arlington Heights is hereby given to'the
disconnection from the Village of Arlington Heights and
annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois of the
property described as follows:
The East one hundred seventy-five (175) feet
of the west two hundred eight (208) feet of
the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter (except the North 33
feet thereof and except the South 420 feet
thereof) of Section Ten (10), Township Forty-
One (41) North, Range Eleven (11), East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That the Vi.llage Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this
Ordinance to the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Mount
Prospect.
SECTION THREE: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided'by !aw) and the disconnection of the described
property shall take effect upon the passage of an Ordinance of
Annexation by the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois and timely
ecording of such ordinance in the office of the Recorder of
Deeds of Cook County, Illinois as provided by law.
