AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION
OF A CONSENT DECREE AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has heretofore approved a Planned Unit
Development under the terms of a Consent Degree entered May l I, 1971 and
modified April 28, 1972 in the proceeding entitled, Chica~3o Title and Trust, Etc.~
Et. Al, VS Village of Mount Prospect, 65CH5300, in the circuit Court of Cook
County, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has held Public Hearings and met with
interested parties regarding an Amendment to the foregoing Decree.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
IN THE EXERCISE OF ITS HOME RULE POWERS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The Village Board does hereby determine that the Consent Decree
Amendment which modifies the Plan of Development for a portion of the Planned
Unit Development is located westerly of Schoenbeck Road in 65CH5300, a copy of
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A (Amendment) is in
the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect and is hereby approved.
SECTION TWO: The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby directed and
authorized to execute the Amendment and the officers, attorneys, employees and
agents of the Village are directed, authorized and empowered to perform any action
necessary to implement all of the terms, conditions and provisions of the
Amendment.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as provided by law.

NAYS: None
ABSENT: Floros
