AS WELL AS RENAMING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT

AN ORDINANCE RENUMBERING CERTAIN LOTS AND BUILDINGS
AS WELL AS RENAMING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have approved Ordinances annexing certain land and
territory to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect believe that the change of certain lot and
building numbers and the renaming of certain streets is in the
best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That pursuant to the authority granted to the
Village of Mount Prospect under the Illinois Revised Statutes,
the names of the following streets, all located in part of
Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois, are hereby changed as
follows:

SECTION TWO: That pursuant to the authority granted the Village
of Mount Prospect under the Illinois Cities and Villages Act, the

building numbers, as shown on the attached, shall be as follows:

SECTION FOUR: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to notify each of the owners of such lots by letter and
inform them of their new house number and/or street name.
SECTION FIVE: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
direct to record a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Cook County Recorder of Deeds, the local Postmaster and all
utility companies serving the subject properties.
SECTION SIX: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
