Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 19th day of August , 1987. AN ORDINANCE NO. '3825 ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF DEDICATED RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED ON LAKEVIEW COURT WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect did consider the vacation of the Village owned right-of-way being the bulb of the cul de sac of Lakeview Court, located within the Kensington Center for Business, and did forward their recommendation to vacate the subject property to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount prospect have determined that the vacation of a portion of the Village owned right-of-way known as Lakeview Court in order to realign the cul de sac would be in the best interests of the residents of the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the President and Board of Trustees find and determine that it is in the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect to vacate Village owned right-of-way commonly known as the bulb portion of Lakeview Court, legally described as follows: That part of street known as Lakeview Court and that part of the circular cul-de-sac bulb area of said Lakeview Court as shown as plat of Kensington Center - Resubdivision Seventeen, a resubdivision in part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, per plat thereof filed for record in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois, March 21, 1986, as L.R. 935 03 002, described as follows: Commencing at the most Northerly corner of Lot 503 in said resubdivision; thence Southerly along the Easterly curved line of said Lot 503, being the Westerly curved line of said Lakeview Court, 347.20 feet to a point of reverse curve in the Westerly line o said Lakeview Court; thence continuing Southerly along the curved Westerly line of said Lakeview Court, 27.15 feet for a point of beginning; thence Southwesterly along the curved Westerly line of said Lakeview Court, being convex to the Southeast and having a radius of 50 feet, an arc distance of 38.89 feet, the chord of said arc bearing South 24 degrees 51 minutes 48 seconds West, 37.91 feet; thence Southwesterly, Southerly, Southeasterly and Easterly along the curved cul-de-sac bulb line of said Lakeview Court, being convex to the Southwest and having a radius of 75 feet, an arc distance of 204.10 feet, the chord of said arc bearing South 30 degrees 49 minutes 05 seconds East, 147.70 feet; thence Northwesterly along a curved line, convex to the Southwest and having a radius of 75 feet, an arc distance of 92.53 feet, the chord of said arc bearing North 40 degrees 52 minutes 19 seconds West, 86.77 feet; thence Northerly along a curved line, convex to the West and having a radius of 670.28 feet, an arc distance of 94.88 feet, the chord of said arc bearing North 1 degree 28 minutes 20 seconds West, 94.80 feet to the point of beginning, all in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance, the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a age 2 of 2 Lakeview Court Vacation certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map thereof, a copy of which is attached hereto, with the Recorder of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, whichever is applicable, of Cook County, Illinois. SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
