Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 19th day of August , 1987. RDINANCE NO. 3824 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, it is no longer necessary or useful to or for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect to retain ownership of the personal property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to sell said personal property to the Mount Prospect Park District for an amount equal to that offered as an option in a competitive bid for a new air compressor bid on 7-27-87. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois Municipal Code, Illinois Revised Statutes, C24, Section 11-76-4, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find that the following described personal property: Inventory Selling Serial # # Year Make Model Price 2833 2746 1973 Ingersoll-Rand Air Compressor $600 Now owned by the Village of Mount Prospect, is no longer necessary or useful the the Village of Mount Prospect, and the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect will be served by its sale. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to said Section 11-76-4, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell the afore- mentioned personal property new owned by the Village of Mount Prospect, to the Mount Prospect Park District for the sum of $600.00 SECTION THREE: Upon payment of the full selling price, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to convey and transfer title to the aforesaid personal property, to the Mount Prospect Park District. SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, by a vote of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities, and approval in the manner provided by law.
