Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 22nd day of July , 1987. ORDINANCE N0.3803 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN A R-X SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Harvest Homes Development has filed an application to rezone certain portions of property hereinafter described from the R-X Single-family Residence District to a R-1 Single-family as provided in Article XI of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois; and WHEREAS, the property is commonly known as 22 ares east and adjacent to Courtesy Home Center on Rand Road in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and is legally described as follows: Attached Exhibit "A" and; WHEREAS, said rezoning request is for the purpose of development of a single-family Subdivision; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the rezoning request (designated as Case No. ZBA 40-Z-87) before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 11th day of June, 1987, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 25th day of May, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations for approval to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested rezoning; and WHEREAS, this Board has considered the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and does hereby determine it to be in the best interests of the Village to grant the requested rezoning. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The official zoning map pertaining to Chapter 14 entitled "Zoning" of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by reclassifying certain portions of the R-X Single-Family Residence District to the R-1 Single-Family Residence District, which is legally described as attached. age 2 ZBA 40-Z-87 SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall from and after its passage, approval form in the manner provided by law. be in full force and effect and publication in pamphlet PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of July , 1987.
