MINUTES
January 17, 2011

Chairman Busse called the special meeting to order at 5:20 p.m.
Roll Call: George Busse, Chairman
Michaele Skowron, Commissioner
Absent: Hank Friedrichs III, Commissioner
Also Present: Michael Eterno, Police Commander
Michael Semkiu, Deputy Chief of Police
Timothy Janowick, Deputy Chief of Police

The purpose of the Special Meeting was to conduct Police Department Oral Interviews. Chairman Busse briefly
reviewed the process to be followed for the Interview Panel and asked for a motion to go into Closed Session.
A motion was made by Commissioner Skowron and seconded by Chairman Busse to go into Closed Session
under personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1) at 5:23 p.m. to conduct Police Department Oral Interviews.
Roll Call: Ayes: Busse, Skowron
Nays: None Motion Carried
The Board reconvened at 11:24 p.m. with everyone present and Chief Dahlberg.
A motion was made by Commissioner Skowron and seconded by Chairman Busse to accept the scores from
the January 17, 2011 Interview Panel and move them to the February 1, 2011, Regular Meeting for the purpose
of adoption and certification.
Roll Call: Ayes: Busse, Skowron, Semkiu, Eterno
Nays: None Motion Carried
A motion was made by Commissioner Skowron and seconded by Chairman Busse to adjourn the meeting at
11:25 p.m.
