Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 17th day of June , 1987. ORDINANCE NO. 3791 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE SIGN ORDINANCE AND AMENDING THE SIGN PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR RANDHURST SHOPPING CENTER WHEREAS, Rouse-Randhurst has filed an amendment to the Sign P.U.D. with respect to property commonly known as 999 N Elmhurst Road in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Subject Property is described as follows: Lot 1 in Randhurst Subdivision, being a Subdivision of 100.6964 acres located in the Southeast Quadrant of Elmhurst Road and Euclid Avenue, located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 27, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks to allow one (1) additional wall sign be authorized for the freestanding office building housing the First National Bank which sign shall consist of a one foot by four foot (1'X4') lexam sign face set flush with the concrete face of the building to be located immediately West of the main lobby entrance and to consist soley of the words "CASH STATION" in green letters on a white background. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the request (designated as Case No. SIGN 5-87) before the Sign Review Board of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 4th day of May, 1987, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 21st day of April, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Sign Review Board has submitted its findings and recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the requested amendment, and the President and Board of Trustees of the Village have given further consideration to the P.U.D. amendment request and have determined that it would be in the best interest of the Village to grant the request for an amendment to the previously authorized Sign P.U.D. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect hereby grant to the Subject Property the amendment to Ordinance No. 3666 requested to allow one (1) additional wall sign be authorized for the freestanding office building housing the First National Bank which sign shall consist of a one foot by four foot (1'X4') lexam sign face set flush with the concrete face of the building to be located immediately West of the main lobby entrance and to consist soley of the words "CASH STATION" in green letters on a white background. age 2 SIGN 5-87 SECTION THREE: Except for the amendment granted herein, all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances and Regulations (including the original Ordinance No. 3666) shall remain in full force and effect as to the Subject Property. SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
