ORDINANCE NO. 3844
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN VILLAGE OWNED
RIGHT-OF-WAY COMMONLY KNOWN AS A PORTION OF WHEELING ROAD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect did
consider the vacation of a certain Village owned right-of-way
commonly known as a portion of Wheeling Road and did forward
their recommendation to vacate the subject property to the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount prospect have determined that the vacation of that portion
of Wheeling Road being the subject of this Ordinance would be in
the best interests of the residents of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the President and Board of Trustees find and
determine that it is in the best interest of the Village of Mount
Prospect to vacate a portion of Village owned right-of-way
commonly known as Wheeling Road, legally described on the
attached Exhibit "A" hereby made a part hereof.
SECTION TWO: That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance,
the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map
thereof, a copy of which is attached hereto, with the Recorder
of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form as provided by law.
