AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING JURISDICTION OF
THE WOLF ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois, acting by and through its
Department of Transportation, is desirous of improving Wolf Road
between Central Road and Euclid Avenue in the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, sald project is being constructed in order to
facilitate the free flow of traffic and ensure safety to the
motoring public; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Improvement of that portion of
Wolf specified hereinbelow, the Village of Mount Prospect does
accept jurisdlctlon of said right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That in conjunction with the improvement of Wolf
Road, more fully described in the Joint Agreement Between the
Village of Mount Prospect and the State of Illinois Department of
Transportation Agreement being the sub3ect of Ordinance No. ,
the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect do
hereby accept jurisdiction of that port~on of Wolf Road from the
curb return on the north s~de of the Wolf Road and Central Road
intersection to the curb return on the south side of Wolf Road
and Euclid Avenue intersection, as indicated on the map attached
hereto and hereby made a part hereof.
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after Its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
