AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE OUT CERTAIN DESIGNATED
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AND TO TRANSFER SURPLUS
FUNDS ON HAND TO THE GENERAL COPORATE FUND OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
SECTION ONE: This Board finds that zn the following designated Special
Assessments to pay the costs of certain local improvements hereinafter defined,
all necessary procedures have been completed, the costs and expenses of con-
struetlng such 'improvements and of levying and collecting said Assessments have
been paid, and full payment has been made on all bonds, coupons, and vouchers
issued on account of such improvements, and there are no outstanding unpaid costs
ot unpaid bonds, coupons, or vouchers on account of such improvements, to-wit:
Special Assessment No. 71 - paving alleys on Northwest Highway and Prospect
Avenue ~
Special Assessment No. 71 Co-0081 - storm sewer construction in Hatien
Heights Subdivision area
Special Assessment No. 73 Co-1190 - water main and sewer construction in
Wedgewood Terrace Subdivision area

There is presently on hand zn said Assessments the following

SECTION THREE: This Village did expend as public benefit payable from Public
Benefit Funds on account of the said improvements in Speciai Assessments No. 71,
71 Co-0081 and 73 Co-1190 the following specified amounts, which payments made
from the Public Benefit Funds with respect Lo said public benefit were in excess
of the above-designated surplus amounte on hand, to-wit:

SECTION FOUR: In accordance with the provisions of Section 4.507 of
Article V of Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect, the
total surplus sum of $23,427.72 shall be transferred to the General Corporate Fund
to be used for Capital Improvements.
SECTION FIVE: The said Special Assessments No. 71, 71 Co-0081 and 73 Co-1190
are hereby determined to be closed Assessments.
SECTION SiX: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in accordance with law.
