AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE OUT CERTAIN DESIGNATED SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS, WARRANTS 1 THROUGH 48, AND TO TRANSFER
SURPLUS FUNDS ON HAND TO THE GENERAL CORPORATE FUND
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, all sets required to be completed by the Village of Mount Prospect
pursuant to the Final Judgement Order of July 27, 1984, Docket No. 82CH5788,
regarding the Village of Mount Rrospect's Special Assessment Fund, Warrants 1
through 48 hove been completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village filed a petitio'n for Approval of Final Accounting on
Payment ond Cancellation of Certain Special Assessment Bonds ond Vouchers for
Docket No. 82CH5788 as of September 30, 1987~ and
WHEREAS, An Order Approving Final Accounting on Payment and Cancellation of
Certain Special Assessment Bonds and Vouchers and to Enjoin Further Bond Holder
Claims and to Authorize Transfer of the Special Assessment Fund Balance to the
General Corporate Fund of the Village of Mount Prospect for Docket No. 82CH5788
was accepted and approved on March 24, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Said Order authorizes the balance of said Special Asessment Fund,
Warrants 1 through 48, in the amount of $165,589.13 plus all interest accrued from
September 30, 1987 to date to be transferred by the Treasurer of the Village of
Mount Prospect from said Special Assessment Fund to its General Corporate Fund;
$22,864.32 of which amount is to be used for capital improvements with the
remaining amount to be used for any proper municipal purpose; and
WHEREAS, the balance of said Speeial Assessment Fund as of March 31, 1988
totals $167,028.01.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
SECTION ONE: In accordance with the Order Approving Final Accounting, Docket
No. CH5788, dated Hatch 24, 1988, the Village Treasurer is hereby directed to
transfer $167,038.01 from Special Assessment Fund, Warrants I through 48, to the
General Corporate Fund, $22,864.32 of which
