AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Chapter 13 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as
amended, is hereby further amended by inserting therein Section 13.123.1 entitled
"Prohibited Sale of Refrigerated Alcohohc Liquor in Single Containers," so that
Section 13.123.1 shall be and read as follows:
SECTION 13.123.1. Prohibited Sale of Refrigerated Alcoholic Liquor m Single
Containers. Any licensee holding a Glass A, G, P or V liquor license shall be
prohibited from selling or offering for sale single containers of refrigerated or
chilled alcoholic liquor not for consumption on the premises where sold, where
the single container has a capacity of less than seven-hundred fifty mllhhters
(750ml) (25.36 fluid ounces). "
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fourteen (1#)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the
manner provided by law.
