AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 18.1323 OF CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 18.1323.D entitled "Parking in Municipal
Parking Lots" of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code of Mount
Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended; so that
hereinafter said Section 18.1323.D shall be and read as follows:
" D.
To park any unauthorized vehicle in all municipal parking lot
owned, leased, and/or operated by the Village of Mount Prospect
between the hours of one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and five o'clock
(5:00) A.M. on any day including weekends and holidays. "
SECTION TWO: That Section 18.1320.B of Article XIII of Chapter 18 of
the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further
amended by deleting regulations on Thirty Minute Parking in their
entirety and substituting therefor regulations governing "Four Hour
Parking"; so that hereinafter said Section 18.1320.B shall be and read
as follows:
Parking of automobiles or other vehicles is limited to four
(4) hours on any day except Sundays and legal holidays between
the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and six o'clock
(6:00) P.M. on the streets or portions thereof included in
Schedule XII of the Appendix to this Chapter.
SECTION THREE: That Section 18.2012, Schedule XII entitled Thirty
Minute Parking, of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended to
correctly reflect the four hour parking regulations; so that hereinafter
said Section 18.2012, Schedule XII, shall be entitled as follows:
"Section 18.2012. Schedule XII. Four Hour Pa~king. It accordance
with Section 18.1320.B, and when signs are erected giving notice
thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for more than four (4)
hours on any day, except Sundays and legal holidays, between the
hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M.
within the district or upon any of the streets or parts of streets
as follows: "
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.
