AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 2
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 2.102.A entitled "Oath; Salary" of
Chapter 2 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is
hereby further amended by increasing the salary from one thousand
five dollars ($1,500.00) to two thousand dollars ($2,000.00); so
that hereinafter said Section 2.102.A of Chapter I shall be and
read as follows:
" A.
Any person duly elected of appointed to sit as a member
of the Board of Trustees of the Village, as a Trustee,
shall take the oath of office as prescribed by Statute
and shall receive as compensation for the performance
of his duties an annual salary of two thousand dollars
($2,000.00), payable in twelve (12) equal monthly
installments. "
SECTION TWO: That Section 2.103.D of Article I of Chapter 2 of
the Village code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further
amended by changing the location of all meeings of the Village
Board from 112 East Northwest Highway to 50 South Emerson Street;
so that hereinafter said paragraph D of Section 2.103 shall be
and read as follows:
" D.
Meeting Place. All meetings of the Village of Trustees
shall be held in the Board Room of the Senior Citizen
Center, 50 South Emerson Street, Mount Prospect,
Illinois, unless, pursuant to due notice, another
meeting place is selected. "
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
