AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
ENTITLED, "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS" OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT~ ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Chapter 13, ent:tled "Alcoholic Liquor Dealers" of the Village
Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by
amending Section 13.106, entitled, "Licenses and Permits" of said Chapter 13 to
delete in its entirety the Class "Z" classification in subsection A. 1.
SECTION TWO: That Chapter 13, entitled "Alcoholic Liquor Dealers" of the
Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, as amended, is hereby further amended by
amending Section 13.115, entitled "Closing Hours; Sunday Closing" of said
Chapter 13 to delete the 'Z classification in paragraph A., so hereinafter said
paragraph A of Section 13.15.5 shall be and read as follows:
"A. It shall be unlawful for all licensees holding liquor license classifications other
than C and G created under the terms of this Chapter to sell or offer for sale any
alcoholic liquor at retail in the Village or to permit any person to consume any
alcoholic liquor In or on any premises for which a license providing for consumption
on the premises has been issued pursuant to this Chapter 13, between the hours of
one o'clock (1:00) A.M. to eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. on Monday through Friday
inclusive; between the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock
(11:00) A.M. on Saturday; between the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and twelve
(12:00) noon on Sunday; and on :January 1 of each year said closing hours shall be
from four o'clock (#:00) A.M. to twelve (12:00) noon."
SECTION THREE: That Chapter 13, entitled "Alcoholic Liquor Dealers" of the
Village Code of Mount Prospect, llhnois, as amended, is hereby further amended by
amending Section 13.115, entitled "Closing Hours; Sunday Closing" of said
Chapter 13 to delete subsection D in its ent:rety and thus making the existing
subsection E to read subsection D.
SECTION POUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by
law.
