RDINANCE NO~'~020 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY ONNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, in the opinion of at leaat three-fourths of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, [t is no Ionger necessary or usefuI to or for the best interests of the VliIage of Mount Prospect, to retain ownership of the personaI property hereinafter described; and Whereas, it has been determined by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the VlIIage of Mount Prospect to sell said personal property at a pubIic auction to be heId on Saturday, 3anuary 28, 1989 at 10:00 a.m. NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois Municipal Code, Illinois Revised Statutes, C24, Section 11-76-4, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find that the personal property described in the attached "Exhibit A" now owned by the ViIiage of Mount Prospect, is no Ionger necessary or useful to the Village of Mount Prospect and the best interests of the Vlilage of Mount Prospect will be served by its sale. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to said Section 11-76-4, the Village Hanager or his designate ia hereby authorized and directed to sci1 the aforementioned personaI property now owned by the VllIage of Mount Prospect, at pubiic auction on Saturday, 3anuary 28, 198~ at 10:00 a.m. at the oId Pubilc Works garage, 11 South Pine Street, Mount Prospect, IIIlnois. SECTION THREE: The Village Manager is hereby authorized and may advertise the Gale of the aforementioned personal property in a newspaper pubilshed within the community before the date of said public auction. SECTION FOUR: No offer which is less than the minimum price set forth in the iist of property to be soid shaIi be accepted. SECTION FIVE: Upon payment of the full price, the Village Manager or his designate is hereby authorized and directed to convey and transfer title to the aforesaid personal property to the purchaser.
