The mooting was called to order by the President ant the roll aa11 showed the following to be present: Budlong, Carlson, Haas, Niebuhr, and Mille. Mr. Be ig el was absent. •Tine Clerk than read the letter f j a the President which read as follows: Bar. Mawin L. Busse, Village Clerk. Dear Sir: You are hereby airectet to call a Special meeting of the board to be held on April 20th, 1935, for the purpose of canvassing the votes and to take up suck other business as may come before said meeting. yours truly Herman Meyn, Pres. A notion was made by Carlson ant 2nt, by Niebuhr that the vote of the election be canvassed. Motio -n was carried by vote of acclamation. The canvass showed the following result. Verett 33a N For Water Softener Propositi•n- Aga inst 379 For 358 -- 4: It was moved by Trustee Budlong and 2nt by Trustee Carlson that the following men be declared elected: For. Pres. H. F. Meyn, For Clerk, E. L. Busse, For Trustee's, Emil Greinke, Herman Haas, Edwin Haberkamp, S. W. Harrington, Chas. R. Hennix, Edwin Wille. The roll Ball on the above motion was as follows. Ayes- Budlong, Carlson, Haas,Niebuhr, and Wille. No Nays. 1 -2- \ It was moved by Trustee Carlson and 2nd by Trustee Wille, that the Water softener proposition be teelared defeated. The following voted Aye: Budlong, Carlson, Haas, Niebuhr and Wille. No. Nays. (16 Trustee Haas moved that the following bills be paid, which motion was seconded by Trustee Ca.-lson. An ordinance fixing the salaries of the President, Members of the Board of Trustee's and the Village clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois beginning with the fiscal year May, let, 1935. oe passed. It was moved by Trustee Budleng and 2nd by Trustee Carlson, that and ordinance fixing the salaries of the Board of Local improvements to members $2.00 per meeting and Clerk $35.00 per year, beginning with the fiscal year May lst, 1935.
